Her expertise lies in digital marketing, including paid search, content marketing, affiliate marketing, and paid social, as well as traditional marketing channels including direct mail, event and field marketing, print, and radio. Alex also has expertise in database management, customer segmentation, and funnel optimization.

She has extensive experience in start-up, early-stage, and growth-stage companies, allowing her to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities each stage presents.

As the CMO of a Wealth-Tech company, she 

  • Led a lean but productive team of marketing professionals responsible for customer acquisition via digital marketing (Google ads, LinkedIn, Facebook), affiliate marketing, programmatic, and email marketing, overseeing an annual marketing budget of $10M+
  • Supported the company’s growth objectives including securing investment deposits from non-accredited investors.
  • Developed annual marketing plan and budget including KPIs and CAC targets as well as ROI and LTV objectives. 
  • Worked with agencies to manage SEO and content and presenting marketing strategies and results to Board of Advisors. 

Alex held the position of Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing for a financial services company with $20B billion in assets, leading the consumer and small business marketing initiatives. Additionally, she: 

  • Supported additional B2B business units within the organization including third-party originations (TPO) and warehouse lending departments.
  • Oversaw growth strategies to grow the consumer and small business deposit base as well as consumer loan and mortgage originations which led to double-digit year over year growth in loan volume and deposits. 
  • Led the marketing rebranding and integration efforts with three M&A transactions. 
  • Spearheaded large corporate initiative focused on data enhancement, customer segmentation, development of buyer personas and customer journeys. 
  • Contributed to overall growth of AUM from <$10B to $15B during her tenure while reducing overall customer acquisition cost. 

Alex has held the CMO and Chief Sales Officer positions in large and start-up stage FinTech companies, and she also served as the Vice President of Acquisition Marketing for a leading global SMB and CEO for-profit peer advisory membership organizations.
